NOV 16, 2019 CREATING A WOODLAND MEDICINE GARDEN
Registration closes Nov 2
Laurie Quesinberry is returning to Earthwise Learning Center!
In this hands-on workshop students will gain the skills, knowledge, and experience to create a haven for native woodland medicinal plants on their own property by working together to create a small forest garden plot start to finish. Laurie will cover reading the landscape, site selection, preparing the soil, tools, planting seeds/rootstock/rescued plants, water, protecting the plants, propagation, plant communities, companion planting, and more. Students will have the opportunity to purchase rootstock for their own woodland medicine garden. Black Cohosh, Blue Cohosh, Solomon’s Seal, and Wild Ginger are a few that will be available. Lunch is included. Limited onsite tent camping is free.
