INTRO TO MAKING HERBAL TINCTURES

Price: $50-$55, depending on how you pay.
Great class for beginners and those wanting an updated refresher class on making your own tinctures.
Learn to make tinctures with fresh and dried plant material-- roots, bark, leaves, buds, flowers, berries/fruits. We will cover the Folk method/Wise Woman method, Weights & Measures method, maceration time, pressing/straining finished tinctures, proper labeling and storage, using tinctures internally and externally, and more.
Each participant will create a tincture to take home.

From Blue Vervain and Dandelion to Chickweed, Poke and Violet, Nature provides us with an abundance of edible and medicinal plants that are commonly looked upon as nuisance weeds. Learn to identify these green allies and more, and discover some of their traditional and current uses.
